And this time, it’s wrapped in 24 mini skeins and one glorious full skein of yarn-y wonder. We’re getting into the countdown spirit early with preorders for the 2025 LBYC Countdown Calendar, and this year’s theme is straight from the Pixar multiverse!

That’s right—we’re diving into the emotional rollercoaster, vibrant color palettes, and unforgettable characters that make Pixar magic what it is. Expect a palette that’ll make you feel like you’re soaring with Carl and Ellie, racing with Lightning McQueen, or maybe even cooking up something colorful with Remy.

If you’ve been rolling with us for a while, you know how this works. But for the newbies, here’s a quick recap of calendars past:

Now, in true “sight unseen” fashion, nobody—and we mean NOBODY—knows what the colors will look like until the big reveal. Not even me. The Boss handles the dyeing, and I’m just as surprised as you when the magic drops. Think of it as your very own “Pixar twist ending.”

What’s in the box?

Each calendar will consist of 24 ea. (20g) mini skeins and 1 full size (100g) skein in your choice of fingering or DK weight yarn. As with our Hip Hop Holiday and Sneakerhead Calendars, we will be offering two different editions of this year's calendar; one with swag, one without swag.

And like any great Pixar story, we’ve got a heartfelt option for those watching their budget:

You can:

• Or just scoop the full skein only, no minis attached

With this being a preorder listing, we will be shipping orders out no later than November 3, 2025. Also keep in mind, this is NOT an open ended preorder. Quantities will be limited.

This yarn is HAND DYED by yours truly! I ask that you order enough yarn to finish and complete your project so that your skeins are better matched. While I try my best to maintain consistency with all of my yarns, I ask that you remember that with hand dyed yarns, NO TWO SKEINS WILL EVER BE IDENTICAL!!!!

Care Instructions: While this yarn can be machine washed, hand washing is STRONGLY recommended to maintain the color and quality of your finished piece.

*NOTES - All companies, including companies who purchase dyed yarns from a mill can have a problem with bleeding or transfer of colors. This mostly occurs in blues and teals, but can occur with any very dark and saturated color. Every effort has been made to ensure that this yarn does not bleed. The color in this yarn has been set BUT you may or may not see an insignificant amount of color exhaust in the water during your first wash but nothing thereafter. This is common with most hand dyed yarns and again, hand washing is strongly suggested to maintain the color and quality of your finished piece.
